Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival
Along side the fabulous Gordy from Mondo Travel, I hosted an incredible group of ladies over across the ditch to The Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and once more it kicked ass. It’s a really interesting event loaded with seminars ranging from business to beauty . There are Marketing breakfasts for networking and Fashion industry forums for anyone wanting to school up on what makes fashion tick.
Being a pack curios babes we checked out the Loreal beauty seminar to load up on tips and tricks. This year they were all about the flick and let us in on a secret that even the best make up artist’s need a little help some times… yes, that’s just normal sticky tape!
Then of course there’s the runway shows, where the only thing loader than the pumping the music is the Fashion . It’s my second year hosting people over to the Fashion Festival and one of my favourite parts is the backstage tour. Might I add that no one gets this! We have been very lucky but it’s so great to see the organised caos that goes on behind the curtains .
Is it just me or does it look like the models have taken over the hair styling?
Another exciting feather in this fashionable cap is the Runway after parties. They roll off the back of the shows right next door and just like you hoped and dreamed they have flowing cocktails plenty of food. They really know how to make a gal feel loved!
