From 158 Fashion Blogs, I have for you our Top 10

BLOGS

I have 102 blogs on my bloglovin dash, another 47 bookmarked on Chrome; a further 12 are saved on Safari. I follow 158 blogs in total, but do I read them? Nope.

For me the whole blog thing exploded the year after I graduated from High School, moved half way across the globe and convinced my parents to buy me a MacBook so I could ‘keep in touch.’ That year I would liken my relationship with blogs (particularly the fashion kind) to Pooh Bear’s relationship with honey: I was utterly and completely addicted.

But unlike Pooh and his unwavering love for liquid sugar, my affair with the blogosphere has faltered. It’s not that I got bored with the content, that didn’t change; it was more about the sheer amount of content I was trying to consume. 158 blogs is a lot of reading/envying/clicking you guys, it’s stressful.

So in an effort to achieve desktop Zen I have cut 158 down to 10. These are the only ones that matter anyway:

Go Fug Yourself: Heather and Jessica are two of the funniest writers ever. They are also the queens of Red Carpet judgement.

The Cut: New York Magazine’s fashion blog.

The Man Repeller: The most important individually curated fashion blog today.

Vulture: New York Magazine’s Pop Culture blog

Page-Turner: The New Yorker’s book blog. “Criticism, contention, and conversation about books that matter.”

Buzz Feed: For when you’re bored at work. Also a great procrastination tool.

Brain Pickings: Your daily brain food.

Flavorwire: Opinions on pop culture.

Style.com: Vogue for your desktop.

They All Hate Us: The only image board you’ll need.

Oh, and us of course. Duh.
