To Infinity, and Beyond.

It’s official (US Weekly said it so it must be true, no?) Lady Gaga will be the first ever pop star to perform in space.

Come 2015 Gaga will be blasting off (sorry) to perform a single song during the Zero G Colony musical festival at Spaceport America in New Mexico. The festival will take place at dawn on the third day of the festival, approximately six months after the first Virgin Galactic commercial flight which is rumored to be carrying Justin Beiber (can we leave him there?), Ashton Kutcher (why?), Kate Winslet, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (obviously).

According to a ‘source’ in order to pull off the out of this world performance (sorry, it’s just too easy) Gaga will have to undergo months of vocal training because of the atmosphere. Also she has apparently taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy, you know, just incase the trip goes all Gravity on her ass.

It’s quite stunning that this is even happening if you think about it.

Imagine, Lady Gaga performing live in space. IN SPACE! Actually scrap that, it sounds terrifying.
