The House of Dior creates a magical world for Raf Simons couture debut
The couture shows are always lavish affairs, showcasing some of the most unapologetically expensive garments ever to walk the runways, most of which will never see the light of day again (and thus unnecessary for anything but the spectacle).
The recent Dior show is a case in point.
We cannot express how much we are in love with this installation for the Dior couture show. Yes it is OTT and was probably also hugely expensive… But that’s not the point; the point is that the end product is like something from a dream. It is like a house from heaven and was of course, the perfect backdrop for the heavenly creations that wafted through the rooms that day. Raff Simons certainly set the bar high for couture week experiences.
