5 Ways To Distract Yourself From Chocolate This Easter

written by lucyfreyakorn March 30, 2013

We really love Easter. It’s that one holiday that gives us a justified excuse for scoffing down mass amounts of egg shaped, chocolaty goodness without a care in the world (because it’s totally better to eat them all in one day than savour them right?). However, with every store flaunting an amazing array of chocolate based treats, which, incidentally will go on sale tomorrow, how do we resist all the (extra) temptation?!

5 ways to distract yourself from chocolate this Easter:

GET CREATIVE: Easter brings with it so many delightful decorative ideas so why not have a crack at making your own? These super cute egg creations or these bunny drop streamers make awesome Easter themed gifts and give you the chance to avoid chocolate gift shopping which more often than not leads to you wondering the mall chomping on that cream egg that just ‘happened’ to appear in your trolley.

HAVE A PASTEL PARTY: Easter is all about the pastels you guys. We have got to give it to him; the Easter bunny is one on trend guy. Why not take advantage of this pastel hued holiday and organise a pastel themed party with your friends. Everyone MUST come dressed completely in pastel colours and of course drink only pastel drinks… Any excuse to party is a good excuse to party we say.

CHOCOLATE FACIALS: Why not host a beauty party involving chocolate face masks! If you can’t eat the chocolate put it on your face I say.

DIY: Floral crowns are all he hypes recently, and very easy to DIY. Sticking with the pastel theme, get on board this botanical trend and sweeten up your Easter look. You could even attempt a floral bunny ears crown. How cute would that be?!

BAKE: If it all gets too much and you’re craving something sweet then get reading! The food blogs are filled with delicious AND healthy baking recipes for you to try this Easter. We are loving this peanut butter cups recipe recently posted by Julia and Libby. Super easy to make and totally guilt free. YUM.

But in all honestly… Sometimes those Cadbury mini eggs are just too good to resist. HAPPY EASTER!!
