Tearing yourself away from normal life is easier said than done but booking a getaway is such an important thing to do. For me it’s a great chance to step back from the daily routine to gain some perspective on what’s really important .. whilst getting a sweet tan.
We had originally booked to head over to Bali (never been and my friends are forever telling me how glorious it is) but we had an ash cloud blocking up our airspace so we waited in Sydney for a few days till we were re directed to Thailand. It was actually a perfect combo having the option to shop a little before heading away. I found this floor length wrap dress in an unassuming Bondi side street, proving it always pays to break away from the beaten track to find hidden gems. This effortless burnt umber wrap dress gets a nice boost when paired with these phenomenal ray-bans. I’ve actually had my eye on these green eyed beauties for a while so I snatched them up from the Sydney Sunglass hut in perfect timing for my Thailand trip.

That said, I wanted to share a few of my fave shades I found in store when I was picking out my new ones. Honestly, there are so many incredible brands, it pays to go in and try them on, to see which styles work with your face shape!
