To me, the outfits are half the fun of a holiday, making me more otfen than not slightly over dressed for the occasion, but hell, yolo right. The trick is striking a balance of ease and glamour. Something that with high heels and the right styling could totally be red carpet worthy but instead you’ve teamed it with sandals and beach hair . You feeling me?
The perfect examples of this, the stunning Camilla kaftans, there are some gorgeous bright cover up pieces to choose from this season so you can float pool side with the best of them.
Something light and sheer over a one piece swimsuit paired with a feature necklace can totally elevate your look to superstar status, just be sure to keep your make up on the simple side so the look is impressive but not fussy.
Above i’ve weaved a scarf through a sass & bide necklace and paired with these high waisted Flynn Sky pants , the paterns clash perfectly because the colours are so similar. Note the red wine accessory 🙂
Jumpsuits are also an ideal option, they are elegant and its just one piece so a super easy thing to pack with no fuss and high waisted pants are always a winner for me, elegance with a masculine edge. Just make sure they aren’t too long so you can rock a pair of flats. Speaking of flats, I will always take a gold and a black pair of sandals as they simply go with everything.
I’m actually in Tokyo as I write this so stand by for more
