Our new favorite destination for all things beautiful.

Situated on Takapuna’s Hurstmere Road, The Journey is the newest, and brightest edition to the North Shores growing retail scene. Gabrielle Becroft, owner/creator of this beautiful boutique had a successful career in design, retail and merchandising but having a her own retail space was always in the back of her mind. Needless to say her hard work has paid off.

It wasn’t hard for us to fall for this store. The space is filled with the kind of things we would love to have in our homes: Rustic wooden furniture, unique artwork, bright fabrics, skulls, ceramic pineapples and a pink papier-mâché bulldog (I NEED this).

In and around all these fabulous home wears, just to keep things interesting, she has some great accessories. We love the bright neons mixed with metals and wood (these are too perfect for summer). If you like what you see we suggest you get down there quick, these are selling out by the day!

 The Journey is located on Hurstmere Road in Takapuna and there is also a pop up store in Newmarket.
