The Bafta Awards: They came, we saw, and now they will be judged.
.
This girl: We are not sure who this girl is but she has managed to make the dreaded mullet hem look really cool. This is some feat, normally we would dismiss a mullet dress within 3 seconds of laying eyes on it but the way she has put this look together, with her slick hair, pointy shoes and clean face.
Anne Hathaway: After watching her on ‘Love & Other Drugs’ on TV last night we are ever thankful for her decision to cut her hair. The hair she was sporting in that movie was horrifying. Anyway, we enjoy this dress on Anne; It fits her brilliantly, it is THE RIGHT LENGTH and is appropriately sparkly. Apart from that slight mishap at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, she is really killing it this year.
.
Amy Adams: This sheer lace thing needs to stop. We can’t help but look at Amy’s dress an imagine she is being felt up by the creature of the shadows.
SJP: We can appreciate what sjp was going for here, she actually looks quite good as far as her makeup and accessories go (great shoes!) but when we watched her present an award during the ceremony she looked rather like she had chucked on some high heels with her sweats and called it a day.

Two great people wearing white
Jennifer Lawrence: WE LOVE JENNIFER. She looks insaaaaaaaanely great in this, just look at it! It fits her perfectly, falls to the ground beautifully AND it’s interesting to the eye. The way she has been styled is also perfect. Simple, but perfect.
Helen Miren: She has pink hair! PINK HAIR! (excuse my excessive use of all caps) Helen is working this look like the expert she is, we just wish she had left that silver shrug thing in the car.
.
Marion Cotilard: This is what the Fug Girls would call ‘a scroll down fug.’ The top half of her looks great in that typical Marion Cotilard way, but the we get to below the waist. If it had been chopped off where that sheer panel peeks out and possibly lengthened a little, it would have been great but alas, that didn’t happen. Sorry Marion but you look like you are hiding something up in there.
Jessica Chastain: This color, Cerulean blue, is striking with her red hair and pale skin and it is an interesting cut, but we are very skeptical about this type of fabric for a dress that is going to be photographed incessantly. The sheen can make it look like there are things there that actually aren’t… But then again, that face can carry almost anything.
