Each year, Salasai designer Kirsha Whitcher and her team grow from strength to strength, so you always know the show will be good. This year, Whitcher has, once again, impressed the crowd with her AW13 collection, ‘Heartlands’.
Whilst previous collections have been fairly androgynous, Heartlands not only had a country-style aesthetic, it also comprised an evident distinction between the male and female wardrobe, in that there was a certain femininity – more skirts, sheer silks, and fitted trousers. However, there were still those key pieces we’d buy for our manfriends, just to steal, such as the awesome knit jersey.
Our absolute favorite from the collection would be a toss up between the cream ensemble and the navy, and don’t even get us started on the make up. Amazing. The nails. Amazing. The styling. Amazing. The show was definitely one of our favorites of the week.
