Following last week’s launch of the eleven-week series, Food & People, hosting the dinner party this Thursday 18th October at 1885 Britomart will be a talented trio of Simon Farrell-Green, Simon Pound, and Murray Bevan.
Covering all areas of fashion, media, and advertising, Farrell-Green, Pound, and Bevan will share their stimulating stories with the public. As creators Tim Lambourne and Connor Nestor put it, “Three men, three very different stories to tell.”
Again this week, Britomart Mexico’s Javier Carmona will be preparing a delicious menu for the evening, which will comprise:
– BBQ Grilled Asparagus with Jamon Migas and Yuzu Mayonnaise;
– Ancho Chile and Coconut Braised Beef Skirt Taco with Papaya and Green Onion;
– Oysters with Pickled Daikon and Soy Mirin Caviar; and
– Grapefruit Jarrito Spider with Ginger and Honey Ice Cream

If all of that isn’t enough to make your mouth water (and it is time for lunch as I write this), there will also be tasty cocktails supplied by Kim Crawford, Stolen Rum, & Perrier.

As proven last week, seats fill up fast, so to ensure that you don’t miss out on a good spot, we’d suggest you arrive on time. In other words, it’s not an event you want to show up to fashionably late. Dinner’s at 7.00pm, see you there.
