Still on the free range pork bandwagon I decided to do a little investigation into whether my fav Auckland inner city restaurants were doing the right thing and dishing up the free range, I was impressed with the results:
- SPQR
- 46 & York
- Soul Bar
- Andiamo
- Depot
- The Foodstore
- The Blue Breeze Inn
Great stuff! All of these restaurants feature free range pork on their menus and are flying the flag for the humane treatment of animals which makes your dining experience all the more awesome.
It should be noted that not everyone I contacted replied, so if you are unsure as to whether the meat on the menu is free range don’t be afraid to ask! And if the wait staff don’t know, then send them out the back to ask the chef – that’s what I do!
