I’ve been watching too much Gossip Girl and can no longer tell.

 Was it 2009 when tights were having a moment? It must of been because during seasons 1 through 4 of Gossip Girl Blair Waldorf was the queen of patterned tights (coloured ones too actually). Never an episode went by when Queen B didn’t rule the met steps in her lace/ribbed/zigzagged stockings. I used to think, prior to my Gossip Girl re-education, that patterned tights or any kind of tights that weren’t black and at least 80 denier, were passe; The kind of thing you only see on girls who shop at Pagani (no disrespect to Pagani).But now, now I feel the need to buy 10 pairs.
