Calvin Klein Spring/Summer 2013

Clean, pure, and effortless are the words used by the team at Calvin Klein Jeans to describe their latest collection. ‘Clean. Pure. Effortless.’ Those are nice words aren’t they? They’re words that make me think of chic Parisian women and minimalistic Swedish fashion editors. Actually they also make me think of Michael Bolton, but I think maybe that’s a different story for a different day.

 Anyway imagery aside, I think they hit the nail on the head with this one. The collection, with its white-on-white, black-on-black, casually styled looks, IS very ‘Clean. Pure. Effortless.’ And with the help of a few well-executed leather pieces, it’s a little bit badass too:

How do they make white look this easy? When I try to wear all white I look like I just wondered of the set of Beverly Hills 90210.

 

 

Actually looking at this now I can’t tell if this jacket is leather or denim. If it’s leather good, if its denim GREAT.
