MIDNIGHT CARNIVAL

 “an ode to the alter ego, the mystical, the unique and the wild side that exists inside all of us.”

I am totally and utterly head over heels for this collection. Nick Von K as always been a master at creating other worldly pieces but this… This is just on another level.

First of all the name of the collection is Midnight Carnival. It makes me think of wild and beautiful things, mysterious things that only happen under the cover of darkness.

Second of all, that line above – “an ode to the alter ego, the mystical, the unique and the wild side that exists inside all of us.” (Nick’s description of the collection) – is possibly the best line ever. Seriously if you want to get me to buy something appeal to my darker side, I’m a sucker for anything dark and mysterious.

And last of all the actual physical pieces are of course just as beautiful as their description. I am especially enamoured with these four rings:

There is nothing normal about them r, which I love. Each one seems like it should come with it’s own mystical backstory… If (when) I get one I’ll let you know how it goes.
