The Met Ball Goes (sort of) Punk

We have covered the punks in black, red, white and pink. Now it’s time for the rest of them /the ones that didn’t really fit into any real category.

Cameron Diaz: I am usually a huge Stella McCartney fan but this caped creation aint the best. Nor is it even the slightest bit punk, she hasn’t even bothered to wack on some extra kohl eyeliner.

Solange Knowles: Man I love this girl. I know Beyonce is like the queen of everything right now but I have to say Solange frequently one ups her in the fashion stakes (although admittedly this isn’t very punk either).

Karolina Kurkova: Umm jesus. This terrifies me.

Amanda Seyfried: This is a whole heap of print. I’m not too sure about it… Is that a cape thing hanging at the back? Or is it an open back? Do I like it? I’m confused.

AMAZING face though.

Kirsten Dunst: I really thought that Kirsten would pull something great out of the bag for this. Instead she went for this sad halter thing that looks like she just pulled it out of a swamp using her neck.

Sarah Jessica Parker: Man SJP went full blown Carrie tonight and I LOVE it. It’s crazy but it’s also very punk.

Miley Cyrus: This I love. Loooooooove! That hair is punkifcation of the highest level and she is pulling of that dress like a pro. You go girlfriend.

Madonna: This I hate. Haaaaaaate!

Kimye: Apparently this dress was originally sleeveless and someone (her stylist) decided that it would be sooooo much better like this because you know, no one wants to see those pregnancy bingo wings. I want to slap that person.

Gwen Stefani: Even though the bottom half of this dress looks a bit like a shiny loo roll I still love it. Great hair too.

Ashley Olsen: Hehe, I secretly love this. Shiny pixie fairy.

Karen Elson: She could honestly have worn anything and still, A) looked great and B) been punk.

Rosie Huntington Whitey: I guess boob vests are sort of punk?
